Ronda Knowles Connop is a Registered Psychologist, Educator, Presenter, Author, and proud mother of two wonderful children. Ronda was born and raised in North-eastern New Brunswick, and is currently living and working in Calgary, Alberta, in both private practice and for the Calgary Board of Education. Ronda and her husband Ian parent within a blended international family of four children and enjoy extensive travel between their homes in Alberta, North-eastern New Brunswick, and Queensland, Australia.

This novel is a written tapestry of the unknown and the known. It is a story of the before, of the now and of what may or may not be, woven together with hued color and design. It is a tale of ancestry, honour and the sad duality of one`s loyalty, and how it is something to cherish yet perhaps ultimately fear. It is the story of one man`s heart, and so perhaps it is the story of us all, of our human condition, of our light and our shadow sides, our black and our white, and our journey through Time.
