Biography
Lilian Joan Davies Lyngseth is a pen name for author Joan Davies (1934- ), by turns a journalist, communications officer and novelist, was born in Rockglen, Saskatchewan and now lives in Ottawa. A lifelong learner, she studied at Sheffield College of Commerce, Carleton University, the University of Saskatchewan and, in 1986, at Hertford College, Oxford. Her books include "Martin's Starwars" (1978, Borealis), written under the name Joan Lyngseth, and the autobiographical "Wine and Wheat" (1984).
