Biography

Joanne Fralick didn't like history class in school. History became fun when she moved next to the former Canadian military base Camp Picton. After writing a history book about the place, she and her son thought they should share what they learned with other children. About the Book

Brothers Mike and Davy Collins are two lucky kids. Their father manages a former World War II air training and gunnery school base, now an industrial park. After school and on weekends the boys play in and around the buildings of old Camp Picton in Ontario, Canada. One day they discover a mysterious box in one of the buildings. To their astonishment their discovery leads to a magical flight through space and time. Will they make it back to solid ground and to their lives in the present? They gain a new understanding of what life in their Ontario community was like and their curiosity is whetted for more adventures from the discovery in Camp Picton.
