About the Author Emoke De Papp Severo
Emoke De Papp Severo, born in Windsor, Ontario, collected 21 Hungarian folktales as told by her mother, and translated them (or had them translated) into English in "Hungarian & Transylvanian Folktales" (1997, Borealis), a book for children of all ages. Some of these Hungarian and Magyar folk tales were translated by Hungary's best known folklorist, Benedek Elek.
