About the Book Come stroll the snowy Avenue at Silver Islet on a calm, moonlit, winter´s night, accompanied by a phantom fox and the Ghost of Christmas Past. Pause along the way and contemplate miners´ houses dating back to 1870, and more recent houses too. Renew acquaintances with the inhabitants of these stalwart, lake facing dwellings. If we´re lucky, we may even hear their voices, share their thoughts. Even if we don´t, it´s a nice night for a walk. And if friends and family members are no longer with us, we´ll memorize them. Think of this as a frosty Memory Lane. Come along. It´s a perfect night for nostalgia.
